Awesome work mate.
As for my opinion on the Transformers films... I definitely can't agree on them being the "best" version of the franchise, but they certainly aren't the worst unlike what certain rabid fans would be quick to say. I will say that I liked the first movie, HATED the second, and then went back to liking the third again. Honestly, I'm actually glad that they've managed to influence newer instalments of the franchise to some extent, as it's also allowed them to mix it in with more traditional stuff and please more than one side of the fanbase, like with Animated and the "Aligned Universe" (which includes the TF Prime series and High Moon Studios games). One thing that I have really enjoyed about them... are the robot designs. Sure, some fans will bitch about them not looking G1, but really, translating the majority of the original designs to live-action form just wouldn't work, and the Movie designs, whilst indeed different, still managed to have a sense of familiarity with certain characters, as well as looking fully functional and visually spectacular. I especially like the Movieverse designs they've produced for Megatron.
But anyway, Optimus looks great here, and I also like you giving a feel for the image by posting a quote from DOTM, as well as putting the title of the deviation as one of the listings from the score (another thing I can say I've definitively enjoyed about them, Steve Jablonsky's compositions are incredible), which essentially plays when Optimus heads into battle and confronts Sentinel.
Great job.
